The Puzzle is a poetic and experimental form of Illustrative Art. The narrative is not depending on the text: in this case, the tale of Jorge Luis Borges, Tlön, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius. The pictures are an autonomous reaction to the text: personal visions with its own laws, building its own world. At last we have an Emsemble of 8 Protagonists, seahorses, transparent tigers, a rose, nine coins, a watch and a hat.They act together at Tlön, his stage, forming successively new constelations. The Thirteen Pretlönists, series of paintings at the Berardo Collection, owes this work  his name not only because precedes it, but also because it adopts the method: association and implementation of diffuse ideas.This work makes use of rudimentary elements: The smooth surface of a shell, the skin of a ray, the body of a jellyfish etc. These elements, deformed, enlarged and pasted form the raw material of all digital narrative construction.
